Social Responsibility & Social Service

A thorough "Professional" yet a "Non Commercial" organisation we have multitude of members from different walks of life : four generations working together, drawn and bound together by pure love for social service, music, dance and dramatics.

The social service division:

  • Provides physical and mental development of students through performing arts and free counselling.
  • Provides its expertise to Municipal Schools, Ashram Shalas, Adivasi Schools within Mumbai and outside.
  • Uplifts and Mentors - youth, jail inmates, destitute women and orphanages.
  • Provides sanitation facilities to community people and schools with less priviledge backgrounds.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH

We have been organizing Nrityanjali FEST - interschool competitions for children, all over Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai since the last two decades in the month of November and December. This is organised, to give children an opportunity to display their talent and gain confidence. 90 categories of events are included in FEST – literary, speech, handwriting, drawing, acting, music, dance and drama – for Jr. K.G to Std. X.

For details on FEST please refer to the section on Nrityanjali FEST

Various activities are planned to provide constant guidance, encourage the development of the hidden talents of the youth, channelising their ubiquitous energies into creative, constructive and rewarding activities.

We also work on inculcating the basic qualities of a good human being, creating among the youth a strong code of ethics, morality and commitment.

Youth are also trained in editorial aspects of a magazine, including layout, proof reading, and creation of dummy magazines.
